My name is Nic Welch I am the Operations Director here on Mustique, and along with looking after how the island maintained my other passion is fitness, so check @FitNic50 on IG.

I have run in many different type of obstacle courses in the US and the far East some as long as 20 miles.

I built the first Spartacus Mustique course in the summer of 2017, mostly for myself and a few others who ran with me, I had a lot of fun building the course and made a proposal to run an event just before New Year in 2017.

The first event took place on the 30th Dec 2017, 82 people entered and 76 people started and finished the event, the course was just over 3.8km long with 12 obstacles, the 2018 course is 4.8km long with 16 obstacles, 2019 will be 5km on the dot, and obstacles? well you will have to wait and see.
